GoDaddy Delegate Access — the agency is invited as a delegate with a permission level, not your login. You'll find it under Account Settings → Delegate Access → Invite to Access. The client keeps ownership of GoDaddy accounts (domains, hosting); the agency is granted only what you assign.
Grant the least access the work needs. Here's what each level on GoDaddy can do:
| Access level / role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Products | Manage domains, hosting and products — no billing. Usual agency level. |
| Products & Payments | Manage products and make purchases/payments. |
| Products, Payments & Renewals | Full delegate access including renewals. |
| Account owner | Full control. Never share. |
1–2 minutes to invite; the agency accepts the emailed invitation and signs in with their own GoDaddy account.
Delegate Access lets the agency in with their own GoDaddy login at a scoped level — no password shared, removable anytime.
Every step above is why agencies move to a single link. HandItSafe requests exactly the GoDaddy access you need — the client approves it through GoDaddy's own process in about three minutes, no password shared, and keeps a panel to see and remove access anytime. That visibility is why clients approve faster, and it makes offboarding a one-tap job later.
